Places to Visit near Cuzco

-->
Places to Visit and People to Meet
It’s very difficult not to fall in love with Cuzco. There are plenty of tours, sights to see and helpful people ready to give you a hand or directions. Your local hotel probably has connections with local tourist guides who can help you arrange tours and give you information.
One of those day trips will be to Machu Picchu, a popular destination for many tourists.  You need to reserve your tickect 2 month ahead. The trip to Machu Picchu costs $190 USD per person, which includes a return train ticket, a connecting return bus ticket and entrance to the site.

The other place to visit on our agenda is Lake Umayo. We will be taking the bus, which costs around $30 USD. Tickets can be obtained in Cuzco.
There are other tours from Cuzco, including the Valley of the Incas and archeological sites. The average price for a one-day tour is around $50 USD. The agenda is open, and we can travel as a group or you are free to book your own day trips.

To visit lake Titicaca from the Bolivia site: you can reserve at http://www.ecocopacabana.com/  a lovely family hostel in Copacabana/ Bolivia. Visit there the center of the second chakra of the earth. The island of the sun in the middle of lake Titicaca.
